Sunset Acres sits on State Route 302 in Pine Bush, New York — a small, family-run horse farm where the same hands feed the horses, teach the lessons, and run the camps. We've been welcoming boarders, students, families, and the occasional photographer for years.
Our goal is simple: give horses a good life, and give people a place to be around them. Whether you're pulling in for your weekly lesson, a birthday party, or just a dozen fresh eggs from the coop, you'll get the same steady welcome every time.

Questions we get a lot.
Do I need any experience to take a lesson?
No. We teach beginners all the way through advanced riders, in both english and western. If you've never been on a horse, we'll start with the basics — and if you want to learn horse handling and training from the ground, we offer groundwork lessons too.
What do your lessons cost?
$50 for a half-hour solo lesson and $65 for an hour. Groups of two are $80 for a half-hour or $100 for the hour.
What ages are camp for?
Our kids' camps welcome all ages. Campers learn how to groom, care for, and ride a horse, with games and crafts mixed in. The Saddle Up Together camp is designed for families to attend together.
Can I book a photo session on the farm?
Yes. Bring your own photographer or let us capture the session. It's $65 per session with no time limit — great for seniors, families, engagements, or anyone who loves horses.
Do you sell eggs or farm merch?
Fresh eggs are $4 a dozen when we have them. We also have Sunset Acres t-shirts and hoodies — call or email for sizes and details.
